Good morning and happy Thursday of Championship Week! Yesterday may have been the biggest lull of the week, but that’s fine with a huge day coming today.

Syracuse went down in its first ACC Tournament game to Miami, and now we have to listen to people talk about the Orange’s resume until Sunday. But hey, Jim Boheim doesn’t care, he said so himself. And he got OWNED by the City of Greensboro:

The other bubble team to lose last night was Wake Forest at the hands of Virginia Tech.

Also in New York last night, a subway ride away at the Big East Tournament, Xavier took care of DePaul. The Musketeers should be safely in the tournament field, leaving us with more opportunities to see JP Macura do stuff like this:

Earlier at MSG, St. John’s advanced over Georgetown. It ended the misery that was this Hoya season thankfully, and could be the end of JT3. We did see Rodney Pryor do this though:

Only one ticket was punched last night – and that was Bucknell of the Patriot League! They look like a 13-14 seed so maybe, just maybe, you’ll have them in your bracket…

As for today. All the big boys will be playing. Here’s the game to watch from each of the Big 6:

  • ACC: Duke vs Louisville
  • Big Ten: Illinois vs Michigan
  • Big 12: Oklahoma St vs Iowa St
  • Big East: Seton Hall vs Marquette
  • PAC 12: USC vs UCLA
  • SEC: Texas A&M vs Vanderbilt

Get better today! This time next week will be the best day of the year!
